Since 2015, Silverbacks Pharmacy has specialized in the inspection, construction, installation, and maintenance of medical oxygen plants—critical facilities that ensure the reliable supply of medical oxygen to regional and national referral hospitals in Uganda.

To date, Silverbacks Pharmacy has successfully installed 22 medical oxygen plants across Uganda. 

These installations have significantly enhanced the capacity of healthcare providers to deliver life-saving oxygen therapy to patients, particularly in regions where access to medical oxygen is limited.

Medical Oxygen Plant Maintenance

Silverbacks Pharmacy is recognized for its expertise in maintaining medical oxygen plants and filling stations, ensuring these systems operate reliably and safely for healthcare facilities. Our  trained technical staff are responsible for regular upkeep and troubleshooting of these plants, which is essential for a constant, high-purity oxygen supply—critical for patient care, especially in emergency and intensive care settings.

These plants require substantial preventive maintenance and repairs to function optimally, as they are complex devices with sensitive components that can degrade or malfunction without proper care. Regular maintenance helps prevent issues such as breakdowns, purity loss, and safety risks, all of which can disrupt patient care and endanger lives.
